10-minute Peanut Butter Pie
Looking for a quick, easy, homemade dessert that can be made in minutes? This 10-Minute Peanut Butter Pie has a subtle, not overpowering peanut butter flavor. It does not disappoint, and your whole family is sure to love it.

This 10-minute peanut butter pie only has 6 ingredients.
Well, it’s 6 ingredients if you cheat a bit….
Graham cracker crust is easy to make, but in my experience, it doesn’t always turn out great. It’s easy to combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter and sugar, but for some reason my crust doesn’t always stay together.
I love slicing a pie where the crust doesn’t fall apart all over the plate. If you ask me, something you make tastes better when it looks better. This being said, don’t criticize me for pulling out the store bought graham cracker crust. Sometimes, you just need to.
Don’t worry though, the rest of this is just as easy as taking the wrapper off the crust.
You likely have all of the ingredients on hand.
I love something that doesn’t take a special trip to the store. These ingredients are pretty much always in our kitchen (except for maybe the graham cracker crust….)
Half the time spent making this pie is simply allowing the first two ingredients, cream cheese and powdered sugar, to cream together with a mixer. It doesn’t get much easier.
If you have a standing or hand-held mixer, this comes together so quickly.
You will need these 6 ingredients to make the filling:
- 6 ounces of cream cheese
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons (T) milk
- 8 oz tub of whipped topping, such as Cool Whip
This is a quick 3-step process.
step 1:
Combine together 6 ounces of softened cream cheese and 3/4 cup powdered sugar. Cream for 5 minutes.

step 2:
Add to the above mixture the 1/2 cup peanut butter and 2 tablespoons milk. Blend all together.

step 3:
Fold in 8 ounces of whipped topping. Gently spoon into prepared pie crust.

Here are some tips to make this even easier….

tip #1:
Avoid adding the whipped topping straight from the freezer. To make it easier to mix, let it set out for 5 minutes or microwave for 10 seconds. When the center of the topping is melted, it is ready to be added, and will mix up in no time. This avoids clumps, similar to hard cream cheese.
tip #2:
If your peanut butter is very thick, put the desired amount in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 10-20 second intervals until easy to mix with a spoon. You can also warm on the stovetop and get the same effect.
This is better when chilled for an hour or so.

Feeling impatient? It could be eaten right away, but will not cut as easily. I have put in the freezer before for a few minutes with good success, but truly it tastes better the more chilled it is.
By the time you make dinner and eat, this 10-minute peanut butter pie will be at the perfect consistency and can be sliced into a perfect piece of pie.
Put it on a pretty plate with some extra whipped topping and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
You will love the creamy consistency that is not overpowered with peanut butter.
The whipped topping and cream cheese make this pie have just the right amount of peanut butter flavor – it’s not overpowering at all. You will want to make this 10-minute peanut butter pie again and again.
