Before we lived on Henning Road, our laundry was in the basement. It was a dungy, dark space that I hated with ceilings so low I had to duck and more cobwebs than I ever wanted to clean. The whole “out of sight, out of mind” was my philosophy with the basement in general – I hated it. Because of this, the laundry was approached the same way – neglected and never caught up, until I started with the one load a day routine.

In our current home, the laundry room is right off the kitchen and is a walkthrough between the house and garage. I absolutely love it.

This was a prior remodel with some wallpaper I had on hand.
