These easy, from-scratch recipes are favorites in my family, and do not require special ingredients or hours in the kitchen.

Meet Jamie

Hi, I’m Jamie. I’m wife to a firefighter and career paramedic, and mom to a 21-year-old son, 16-year-old daughter, and a 4-year-old mini goldendoodle.

After years of working 9 to 5 and coming home to complete chaos – I knew something had to change. I revamped my routines, got rid of the excess clutter (physically and mentally), simplified my priorities, and it CHANGED. MY. LIFE.

Through Home on Henning Road, I share budget-friendly decorating ideas and sources – mostly with a vintage cottage style, DIYs, what I am making in the kitchen, and our plans to be more self-sustaining on our newer home on 10 acres.

I’m one of those people that claims chocolate as my sixth food group… it just makes me happy. That being said, any recipe you can…
